About Michelle Cochran FNP-C
Michelle Cochran, FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner who has been practicing since 2012, working in internal medicine, urgent care, women's health, and family practice. At Spring Valley Internal Medicine in Washington, DC, and Bethesda, Maryland, she values partnering with patients through different stages of their life, empowering them to restore or keep their health. She believes each patient is unique and strives to engage with them to make personalized treatment plans and goals.
Before she was a nurse practitioner, Michelle studied naturopathy and midwifery. Those core tenets inform her NP practice to this day: to work to address the fundamental cause of disease and encourage others to strengthen their health and reduce their risks for disease.
Michelle is a lifelong Washingtonian who is raising her four children here. She is a graduate of George Washington University (BA in Psychology) and Frontier Nursing University Community Family Nurse Practitioner program (MSN). She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Nurse Practitioner Association of DC, the North American Menopause Society, and AHEC Scholars.
