Michelle Cochran FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner who has been practicing since 2012, working in internal medicine, urgent care, women’s health, and family practice. She values getting to partner with patients through different stages of their life, to empower them to restore or keep their health. She believes each patient is unique and she strives to engage with them to make personalized treatment plans and goals.
Before she was a nurse practitioner she studied naturopathy and midwifery and those core tenets inform her NP practice to this day- to work to address the fundamental cause of disease and encourage others to strengthen their health and reduce their risks for disease.
Michelle is a lifelong Washingtonian who is raising her four children here. She is a graduate of George Washington University (B.A. Psychology) and Frontier Nursing University Community Family Nurse Practitioner program (M.S.N.). She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioner Association of DC, North American Menopause Society, and AHEC Scholars.
